CJSS 2009 – Better late than never… post

The Classic Japanese Show ‘n’ shine 09’ was held north of Brisbane with over 50 cars attending.

This annual event now in its 4th year was open not only to the classic Japanese cars but to any age Japanese car and all years was represented during the day. All precedes went towards angel flight which is an organization that helps fund flights for people of the out back for non-emergency people but people unable to travel long distances due to poor or critical health.

Mazda’s out in force

This Mitsubishi Galant was mint. The Idea of putting a newer engine with ITB’s into an old car seams to be a foreign concept for anyone in Australia apart from AE86 guys.

It seams the majority would of optied for the 4g63’s turbo brother but im glad someone went with this set up.

This classic Prince Skyline has been to all 4 shows so far, since the orginiser of the shows owns it, also won best car from the 60’s

Sitting along side its brother car.

Option 1 Garage brought along there imported S110 Silvia coupe to display. Wide wantabe, bolt on over fenders, stretch, front lip and running the FJ20 Nissan motor makes it a very good buy if anyone’s interested?

Until now I’d only ever seen Datsun Fairladys without roofs on. Not a fan of convertibles my self but this along with its low stance really threw me. Some wider wheels and stretch maybe and this would be epic win.

Carl whom drives an Aussie spec R31 dropped by the show in his F31 Lepoard rolling on Work Emitzs rims with the most opporitate personalized plates “MYF31”. Been trying to con him into rolling on 15’s but to no avail, still the car looks sweet with some JDM classic’s.

This is a pretty late post, so please forgive me on this one. Ive got a 100+ more pictures from the day but ive only posted my favorites, there are HEAPS of pictures from the day all over the net so instead of posting all my pictures ill post all the links I’ve found so far.
