Australia has its own Devil Z, spotted at this year’s Classic Japanese Show ‘n’ shine.

The first time I saw this White 240Z was a photo thread on a secret drift attending a private day at Full lock Motor sport park (aka Archerfield) sliding with a bunch of rally guys, I couldn’t believe my eyes, I saw nothing of it again till a QR practices a few months later while I was on track I saw it sliding, it came out of no where, slid the track a few times and was gone before I could come find it for a look.

thankfully this car showed up at this years show, he arrived a little later in the morning after a few cars had already parked he drove in and a lot of people stoped in there tracks to check the car out, literally a “show stopper”.

I was truly expecting a SR20det or RB20det but I was happily surprised to see the Nissan L motor still installed

Running triple carbs, extractors and ominous red rocker cover hit at what goodies could lie inside.

The interior didn’t look at all like a bad place to be compared to other track going Z cars.

Matching Fixback seats that match the interior as well… nice

The wheel spec’s I hear on the rear are 15×9.5-22 with spacers to clear his upgraded brakes, with over fenders to suit.

It’s a real shame there wasn’t a people’s choice award this year as it would of won it… I over heard a few people poking fun at his wheels being so wide “its like he’s trying to overcompensate for a lack of something else” my response being as apposed to Australian spec 17” rims on a car from the 1970’s, this is how Japanese build Japanese cars.
Anyway… if you’re the owner of this car drop me a line so we can take more pictures or at leased get the spec’s of the car straight from the horses mouth so to speak.
Thanks for reading again.
